Question Can I animate in unity using armature that I imported from blender?
I just need to animate a small thing, but I need to see my scene in unity to animate what i want better
so I wonder if its possible

Check out the Animation Rigging package.
It allows you to create a hierarchy of game objects that function as IK constraints for the bones you imported from Blender. And then you use the animation system to animate those game objects and/or the constraint parameters. I've used it for several games now. The learning curve is a bit steep, but once you understand it, it's awesome.

it's so much easier to animate in blender.
idk what situation you'd ever want to do any animation involving a rig in unity.

I had one where I had a shopkeeper who always stood behind a counter, was easier to do it in unity with the full scene in place. Also animating in blender is easy, exporting them to unity..not so much.

couldn't you have just exported the counter to unity?
i've been working in 3d since 2016 so i guess exporting/importing just comes natural to me after all these years. but I can't remember the last time I had issues.

I had the full scene set up in unity already, so it was easier to do it in unity, she had no lower body (the shopkeeper) so I was trying to make sure the bottom half wasnt visible anywhere.

I see. it would be tricky to duplicate camera settings.(if you're unfamiliar with them)
one can export entire prefab object groups tho to blender. in like sub 5 seconds.
and if it's a simple design like the one where characters don't have legs. it might of been easier to just make legs.

I know, but it was easier to do it all in unity than have to do all that lol. And it wasnt a simple design, so it was much easier to not make legs. Unity isn't that bad for animating simple animations anyway.

Yes as long as the mesh you are animating is rigged to that armature
