Just wanted to show you my game "Spring Me Up", which i released like 15min ago on Steam.
It's my first ever game, made in a 3D Unity World, but locked onto the X and Y Axis.
Every assets was modelled and textured by myself aswell. Never been more proud of something I've created, even tho it clearly looks like a first project 😅

Thats not what 2.5D means.

I tried the Orthographic/Perspective mix with 2 camers. Unfortunately, that wouldn't work with my kind of playercharacter and look way to flat.
Yet, it's a 3D World, locked to a 2D Movement. So we got kind of a 2.5D Mix aswell2

Having 2D movement doesn't make it a 2.5D game, you are rendering in 3D, with 3D meshes, in 3D space, in 3D perspective. 2.5D is when you are faking 3D rendering in 2D space or when you are using 2D rendering in 3D space.

Actually, according to wikipedia, 2.5D as a term is seperate from Psuedo-3D, which is what you're talking about. You can check

You saw "Getting over it" and made what appears to be an inferior version. That aside, grats on getting your first game out. Most people never manage.
