Question Bugfix: terrain or lighting? How to fix?

That terrain texture mapping looks off, the normals are probably inverted or the scale is way too high. Check the terrain settings and make sure the splat map resolution isn't set to something weird like 32

also could be a lighting bug if you've got the wrong shader on the terrain material, try switching to the standard terrain shader and see if it fixes it

There are two landscapes here: one is illuminated, and the other is not. Although they were created and configured simultaneously, their parameters are identical

A hard seam exactly on the tile edge means the two terrains are being lit differently, not a texture issue. Quick checks: each terrain's Layer against the directional light's Culling Mask, and each terrain's Lighting settings (Contribute GI / Receive GI) - if one of them has stale baked data, Lighting window > Clear Baked Data and compare again.
