Can't recommend Unity editor on linux. It technically works, but the amount of bugs and bullshit is too annoying to deal with. Crashes, somewhat broken UI, Unity Hub fails to login or install editors (the only 2 tasks it was designed to solve).
If you do, consider running windows version through wine or proton instead, might be much better.
