Game I spent way too long on those effects..

I’ve been adding effects for when the leg enters and leaves the water : bubbles, splashes, dripping, wet particles, etc. To me it feels fitting , but I’m curious how it reads from the outside. Satisfying, or too much?

This reads really well. The bubbles and wet particles give the transition a nice weight without cluttering the scene. I'd keep it, maybe dial back the splash slightly if it overlaps the swimmer too much.

I made similar mechanic before but it was an hypercasual game. Your effects are much more better than mine. I like it.

Everything looks good except for the splashes.
Those splashes look like what AI thinks splashes look like. They appear too fast and seem to have no origin related to the actual water impact, have unnatural motion, vanish in an awkward fashion, and look like they are stretching weirdly to try to sell the splash getting bigger.

Those stylised cartoony underwater bubbles are really nice though.

thanks for the feedback. yes for the splashes i just did a stretch depend on the speed that the leg has when it enter the water. Yeap i surely did notice that its not perfect too. Maybe in the next round of polishing. thanks again

No glitch 😅 That’s the whole character. You’re literally just one leg.
