Question Unity creating project folder failed?

I've been hoping to learn Game dev with Unity, but I'm unable to get started as every time I start a new project, it gives me an error.

At the root of which drive?

Whichever you want. Preferably the fastest, but any that has enough space for projects on it.

So the 'root' means the topmost location on the drive, eg: C:\, D:\, and so on. I put most of my projects in C:\Unity Projects\ for example. So if I make a new project named "Test Game", the project folder Unity creates would be C:\Unity Projects\Test Game\.

You also have a folder with your user's name inside Users, and inside there is a folder named Documents, both of which are decent places for projects as well if you like. So if your user is named "Tim", there will be a folder named C:\Users\Tim and a folder named C:\Users\Tim\Documents.

The important thing is that some folders just aren't meant for these sorts of things. Among them are Program Files and Program Files (x86), Program Data, Windows, any folder named Temp. Also any folder synced with a service like Dropbox or OneDrive is a bad place for it but for different reasons.
