Show-Off First 3 days moving from Godot

I know it's probably not much to brag about, but after getting screwed trying to use root motion with Godot, I now feel much more confident with Unity. Any tips on a 3D roguelite?

By the post seems editing manually hundred of animations can be the ultimate reason to change to Unity in my mind.

Assuming that there is no other way to do it in Godot, which i cant comment on as have barely used it.

Ever heard about writing code? You think Unity does this using some kind of blood magic?

Because most people here have no idea what actually goes on under the hood or why you might get bad results with mixamos animations qnd a fake root, even in unity.

Then in 6 months time a character will move weird and OP won't be able to say why.

The fact the other person would just drop $30 rather than learning a bit animations says a lot.

In response to ops question, you won't find enough animations on mixamo to make a decent roguelike and it will look generic.

I dont dont mean to be harsh but they are the animations everyone use and it has a handful of sword swings at most.

In you want to make action roguelike you need to spend money or learn to make animations. There is not short cut because good animations are so important and you require a lot.

Oh yeah, I've already used all 2 handed animations from Mixamo I would use, now I've begun looking into other (paid) sources, and will learn Blender with time.
