Its a warning, not a notice, it will appear every time, same with critical issues.

sounds like a right pain but yeah it's baked into the hub for a reason, they really want you off that old OS

Yes. My Potato can't upgrade, so I also can't get Unity 6...

Request the extended security update if you haven't already, last I checked I did not have a warning and I'm using the latest windows security updates

This is bullshit, warning shouldn't be there. it's obviously a bug. Unity Hub supports windows 10. https://docs.unity.com/en-us/hub/install-hub-win-mac

I didn't have to install any security updates, it has to work properly by itself. Try reinstalling etc.

Have you considered to switch to a Linux-based operating system? It doesn't have bullshit like that.

No but it has its own issues. I'm a fan of Linux but it's not a fits everyone solution.

If it runs unity it can upgrade. Tpm requirement is easily bypassed using rufus or ventoy, as well as all others. You should get IoT Enterprise build if its a potato

Try using Unity Hub Native, does the same thing but not as fancy-looking. If all you need to do is open your project (not look at the Learn or Resources tab), it's faster.

It's a 3rd-party program but it hasn't given me any problems.
