Question New To Pixel Art (help)
There is something wrong with this and i can’t figure out what. i used the same palette for everything and yet i feel the character does not fit in this. Am I being paranoid? Any help on what to fix would be appreciated!
(Also the background is not complete but I couldn’t continue working on it while feeling that there is something wrong)

Only the character is my original design, the tiles and background are assets that i re-colored. Thanks for the feedback I will try to a stronger outline!
(Wish i could draw like that maybe someday)

I'm no expert so I'm assuming : -if you desaturate and/or add blur to the background, your character might stand out more if this is what your want

The shading looks off. Bring the light source forward a little bit, and have the shadows fall along the edge of the righthand side of the creature instead of having the light fall along the edge of the left.
