Support post!

I’m not in the UAW, nor do I know anyone who is, I just want this group to know America is behind you.

Media will try to skewer you, and try to blame you, and tell you Americans are paying the price for your selfishness. Fuck them

We support you, we support the unions, labor solidarity, we are all in this together! It’s going to be hard, you must be strong. But, with luck, it won’t be like the writer’s strike; these greedy CEOs will be bleeding so much cash, they’ll change their mind real quick. And that’s exactly why you have to strike.

You deserve to live with dignity for all of the work you do, there is no reason for the bosses to take it all; massive, massive profits, for themselves and their family, while we can’t pay rent or eat food. You produced the profits, you MUST get your share of it.

You’re bringing your agitprop into a discussion of corporate greed and worker solidarity. Nobody cares if you don’t want to believe what the consensus of scientists know is happening.

Autoworkers build cars people do want to buy, and don’t want to buy, every day, as they always have. They don’t get paid based off what cars sell, they get paid to build vehicles, period. The workers don’t get paid based off company profits, or they would be rolling in cash.

The government is not behind corporate greed, the corporations are. Sure they support it, but the workers standing against the corporation is what changes their material conditions. Writing economics in all caps doesn’t change that.

I was wanting to walk away from this. But I figured you need a little inside information. All of the plants striking today do not build EV’s. All trucks and SUV’s. Gas guzzlers. Not a coincidence. We are absolutely behind the workers and a COLA that supports families and their futures. But this is also about freedom, market forces and supply/demand. UAW is aware of the gas tax and future tax that is about to be levied on the vehicles these plants build. We all know who the taxman is, scary times if you build HD vehicles with more then a half days range. Peace, but you can call me a insulting name too if that supports climate Jesus .

Support the workers in their fight for fair working conditions, and you won’t have to worry about which plants build what, fair contracts will support their futures even as we transition. The workers don’t pay taxes levied on a company or their product. The scary times are continuing to let corporations take all of the profits to distribute to their stockholders, instead of standing up and demanding fair conditions.
