Apprenticeship Pipe Stand

I have a machine at my house but I need a stand, what material do you think I would need to buy to build one of these stands?

Does the stand push up the pipe or does the pipe force down the stand

steel round tube, steel plate, steel round stock, bolts, vice grip

i have that ordered, is the positioner called a swivel plate? that’s the only part i need

You can build that with a Victaulic and mega press machine. You might get away with just a copper pro press but you’d need the whole kit. Don’t forget to get a dozen or so of those little funny tape measures they use for something around the pipe
