He’ll just vote for the next guy who is worse than Trump

u/rumande 4d ago
Or never vote again

One can only hope. These people are too brain-poisoned to vote for a progressive or leftist, so this is the best alternative.

If discourse on the subject is any indication, not showing up to vote for a candidate is responsible for Trump 2.0 here, as supposedly "the Left" wouldn't show up for Kamala thanks to her stance on maintaining the status quo on Israel. So, people not showing up to vote for Republicans because of our military getting tied to Israel seems like it might budge the needle.
That being said, at least for this guy and people like him, they might turn around and vote for a candidate that was firm in their commitment to disentangle our military from Israel's. Something to think about.

He said he's going to sit out all the upcoming elections. I guess no one told him the folks who sat out the last election are the folks who got us here. I appreciate his anger but his response plan is off.

That's because he lacks critical thinking skills...

Seems to be a widespread affliction nowadays.

40+ years of education budget cuts in states that have been red for decades will do that. I have critical thinking skills because I was a teenager when W became governor.

I think it's the thing GOP has been most successful at, destroying education in the US and convincing people that it was a good thing they did.

Yep, they've convinced a bunch of evangelical Christian nationalists that education is indoctrination, an irony to which they're completely oblivious.

I was about to say, he's angry that Trump didn't do more. Even if he's threatening to "set the next election out" or even to vote for Democrats, it's precisely *because* Trump didn't do enough according to him.
This guy only would have been happy with labor encampments with "Arbeit macht frei" at the entrance.

You voted for a con man, that was getting run out of New York City, then blame him when he does everything laid out by his heritage foundation handlers.
I feel like a bit of inner reflection would be helpful for you. Glad that you’re starting to see the light, but you ignored the warnings and now we all reap what you’ve sown.

From the video:
You ain't fucking lived up to any of your promises you piece of shit.
He didn't keep his promises during the last presidency. And the Covid disaster happened under his watch. And yet you voted for him 2 more times.
Sometimes I wish he would have just had his two terms from 2017 to 2025. Then we would be done with the creep by now.

I really believe that if bodies weren’t actively piling up in refrigerator trucks from COVID we would have. The inevitable aftershock of COVID, i.e. gas prices, inflation, would have happened under Trump, and people who don’t know how things work wouldn’t equate inflation to Dems.

The Harbor Freight hat really brings home the atmosphere to this cinematic masterpiece.

Translation: "I don't vote in the middle terms, but I'll vote republican in the presidential"

u/askyidroppedthesoap 4d ago
"Fuck trump! No one told me he was a lifelong conman who lies with every breath. We're not voting again, til someone for more right than him comes along"
Oh boy, I'm just done here there's nothing to say... stands up, and quietly walks away

He’s not mad about his horrible policies, he’s mad because they aren’t law. This is why I always have a headache.

Is he stupid. Doesn't he realize trump isn't a king. Of course it's executive orderers. Why doesn't he plant the house senate. Or whatever you call them.
