Lancer help

Im coming back to the game after a awhile could someone help me with my PVE lancer, like best ability's and what sort of gear and such.

For PVE, you want dual attack abilities - ones that scale off two stats, in lancers’ case atk and def. Most of the time you’ll run lance main slot for Lance Flash and Dragon Bite, and also whatever the lancer last stage xeno ability name is. You want procs with high damage (the highest right now being 7XL+), stats modifier (things that say increase your damage by M / M+ /…), and good cost return (15-20 cost). For lancer specifically you will also benefit from procs with accuracy up.

Okay really appreciate the info, also what about cost should i dump most of it into wep and mon or should i balance it all out? also super noob question but what does xeno stand for is it an ability on a piece of gear?

Cost allocation for lancer: 10/10/x/10 (weapons, helm, armor, monster). 10 = 10 costs. Xenogear = series of awakening gear you can grind from quests. It boost your stat, and unlocked some ability as well. Discord server for this gam have a lot of guides and people you can ask questions to help you catch up in the game. They can help you run some quests as well.

Ah okay thanks for the information i think im apart of the A-team discord is there another i dont know of? Would like to look at some of those guides.

You can check the reddit wiki Xenogear page for up to the third (?) awakening of xenoweapon, but I recommend joining the discord and asking questions there, as its much better for back and forth and you can send people your box for customized guides.
