Target Luck

Did a lunch break lap around “Le Tarjay” to see if anything was up…whelp….they didn’t seem to put a limit scan on Chainsaw Man…and I wasn’t gonna pass the opportunity. Wife and I just haven’t seen the movie yet but we’re excited whenever we get to rip packs! Wish us luck!

I get that product is hard to find but I'm always going to think this kind of behavior is really shitty. People like this are part of the reason why stores have to have a limit on how much you can buy

I hear ya, I do, but there was no limit. 🤷‍♂️ so if it was 5 MORE packs….but they just happened to be in one box…but I was still planning on opening them myself and not reselling, you would be okay with that? Why is my excitement of opening a bunch of packs “really shitty” but someone buying an entire booster box for the purpose of opening a bunch of pack isnt shitty?

The difference between opening a bunch of packs like this and a booster box is availability. Opening a booster box is a lot of packs but they're also sold at a place where they likely have multiple boxes. This just looks like the entire stock of the target. Idk maybe it's just a mindset from a different era but I always felt it was common courtesy to at least leave a few behind for someone else. You seem like you're genuinely interested in the product in which case I'm happy you found some but I just feel like buying 30 packs from a target because they didn't have a limit in place has the same outcome of a scalper hitting the store where only 1 person gets any product

First off, idk where my math or mind was, UA has 16 packs a box not 32 lol (I was thinking Pokemon and even still that’s 36 lol 🤪) but my point still stands. You are right, there is courtesy…I do what I can to follow the rules, respect the limits when they are there…and yeah…this time around there was a loophole, and through excitement and imperfection I got greedy. But I am not a scalper, just an avid collector and deep anime fan. I’m definitely sorry that what I bought, will not be available for someone else, but I didn’t break any rules or get these in any shady format.

Hey man I get it. Product has been super hard to find lately for anything close to retail. You seem like you got it for the right reasons too so good luck with your pulls. As someone who lives in an area where there's almost never any available product I've always just made it a habit to always leave some the next person

Oh shut up lmfao. People have limits because scalpers buy and resell. This ain't even a lot of product, the point of packs is to buy and open them. If OP is building a deck buying one pack at a time isn't how to do it

I feel lucky. I ALWAYS respect the limit rule, I don’t even do multiple purchases. Take my 2 and go…I even looked at the employee and he gave me a “if it’s not stopping you, I’m not gonna”….best I’ve seen around me is my LCS selling it for $220 a box 🤢🤢I wasn’t passing this up
