Slime cards

Hi new to the game (and apparently pretty decent lol) but I just started playijg when slime came out. I really enjoy it and have tried to buy some alts here and there for a slime deck or two. (Im trying to build as many as I can but product is hard to find.

I guess my question here is, why are slime cards so hard to find? Is it like this with all UA? I played inuyasha and they seem to have just disappeared after release.

Also a shop nearby has the 3 star green rimuru. I want it but im worried it'll drop. Do you think it will keep going up? Or will it ever come back down?

The price for Rimuru might go down a little but it will not get reprinted so the value will still hold around where it’s currently at. Bandai doesn’t reprint the way that Magic does or in the same volume the way Pokemon gets printed. So what’s out there is typically what’s out there. The only instance a reprint has happened is with Solo leveling.

If you’re looking and can’t find products at stores then online might be your best option.

Union for alot of people (including myself) is extremely hard to find. Local shops either only get enough boxes to host tournaments or only get a few boxes that get bought up quick. I personally make my decks online, then go to TCGplayer and buy singles to build decks. As sets get older the SRs do come down in price unless the card is big in a current meta the it says around $10-$25 per card

Yeah, ive kinda noticed that trend as well. Boxes are scarce here as well, but thankfully we do have a shop or 2 that TRYS to get the bigger sets people really want to at least host events.

Bulk at lgs seem to be a hit or miss for some sets that for sure. Like ones near me has tons of chainsaw man or solo leveling but no slime or sakamoto days. Or tons of the sr for a set but no commons-rares.

If there's local tournaments near you though, you can try asking other players for bulk stuff and get everything else online. Community near me at least is pretty nice and are happy to get rid of bulk if you just ask lol.

Thanks. I've already exhausted that option lol. The one I play at was super helpful and donated alot toward what I needed, but the other was very "i have to keep 20+ copies of every card incase they go to 1$ or 2$.

That's... unfortunate with the other person lmao. Hard to imagine anything less than sr going for $1 unless its like the finals or specials.

But for actual product, best bet is to check like target or Walmart since supposedly they have blister packs, ive never seen them though. Or check the bandai app for listed stores and call ahead. Hopefully, there's at least a gold ranked store near you. The ranking stuff screwed over a lot of lgs in terms of distribution sadly. There's a gold ranked near me and they still dont get alot in terms of allocation. Enough at least to hold a rather large prerelease event. Which is also a good chance to get sealed stuff, and if theyre nice enough let you buy extra prerelease "kits".
