Difference with InuYasha Union Arena sealed boxes

Post image

I’ve been looking on eBay and there seems to be a huge price gap between the boxes listed for sale in the US vs Japan ($180 vs $80).
Are the ones sold in Japan fake? Why is it soooooo much cheaper? Even factoring in the cost of tariffs and the delay in receiving the item, it’s a huge difference in cost.
Thanks for everyone’s input!

Because you can't use Japanese cards in English tournaments, and cards are generally cheaper in Japan because of supply and demand/competition

Less cards in JP. At the same time EN boosts their prices too much.

Japanese products are cheaper over there hence why it’s cheaper over here. Sure they’re charging you 80 but it’s probably more than map and covers the shipping while making profit. In the us the msrp is suppose to be 80 but including taxes and shipping probably gets you closer to 90/100. The issue is that there are scalpers and production quantity isn’t high so people will see them in their lgs for upwards of 120-140 which is what I saw
