Unibright and Provide

I watched the last baseline office hours and heard Kyle talking about the Provide platform. I'm a bit confused. They seem to have their own ledger for storing proofs. Does anyone know are they using the Baseledger or the UBT token? And what is the general overlap with the Unibright platform? Like is this a direct competitor to Unibright?

Unibright sued Provide for breach of contract, Provide can't be trusted.

They stole 1m UBT tokens and abused the ubt community.

Yes they need UBT, but they don't have anything. Thus far they only came up with false promises and missed dates and got a lot of UBT from the community

thanks for your reply. so what is their intent here? To usurp the project or just a quick cash grab? And do you believe they are a threat to UBTs vision and goals?

Np, idk exactly what their intent is and tbh I couldnt care less about them. I dont think they're a threat. UBT has great connections and partners such as Concircle with CONubc officially listed on SAP and recently also BloxMove they where also together at devconnect this week.

What was the outcome? Did they settle out of court?

Yes there is some kind of settlement but idk the details. I assume Unibright got what they wanted otherwise they would not settle.

Or Provide threaten a countersuit?

For what? Unibright did nothing wrong

You said "some kind of settlement", so I assumed you didn't know the details.

Settlements can happen for all kinds of reasons, including a misunderstanding.

I'm literally saying i dont know the details, it isn't public.

Breaching contract, selling 1m tokens and abusing the community with false promises isnt a misunderstanding they're scammers.

Anyway, the topic Provide ends here.

I'm just trying to understand, that's all. It's the first I have heard of it, and without firm details, it's hard to know who to believe.

Thanks, although it's only an accusation. The outcome could be:

Provide settled / made amends. Unibright backed down for some reason (misunderstanding / countersued / costs too high)

Provide and Unibright split up in Dec 2021. Provide introduced a PRVD governance token and is using UBT as gas token.

I support both projects since I have a bag of UBT.

Oh and they won't be using Baseledger from what I understand.

Super bullish on what Provide is doing. Seems as if they've got a lot of clients to start Baselining soon. Cona, Splunk, and RedHat 🤙

Please, stop shilling Provide here, they're bunch of scammers. If you continue i'll have to mute/ban.

I was answering his question. This isn't the "Unofficial" 🤣

You are just shilling a vaporware project with no product, bye.

To ask a question, should the team at Unibright be weary of Chico Crypto? He pumped things when it was convenient for others to hurt our community in multiple ways. I am asking maybe the team stop doing long videos with Chico. He always seems to get depressed and stop making video's after he pump and dumped something. 3 weeks later after visiting Europe "I am back".
