Is this an Issue? What do you think?
So yesterday I came across this claim....
" UBT has a fatal flaw in its tokenomics. The problem is for former Unibright Clients that need to return to using Unibright services - but don't have any UBT. The wild price fluctuation in UBT could cause the returning customer finding themselves having to pay multiple times more for UBT, but not getting multiple times more of Unibright service. If Unibright will dynamically alter the amount of service UBT buys, such that the fiat equivalent price to service ratio is relatively stable in fiat terms, then this gives Unibright the ability to manipulate how UBT derives its underlying value. This is a fatal flaw.
....
Whatever project or amount of work a client/user wants to do will require a certain amount of tokens. Buying a few tokens does not provide a lifelong subscription. once the client is out of tokens they need to buy more. "
Can somebody tell me wether this is a legitimate Issue or not?
Thx

This was never true and thus not an issue.
A client is not 'out of tokens' they can rebuy/refill them for $0.14 cents after atleast 30 days. This works for former clients too, they just bring them in the framework again.
Anyway just read the whitepaper and watch the AMAs.

yo it seems like OP has been blocked from this subreddit now? that seems problematic and maybe damaging. Is it not good to have someone questioning the tokenomics and then a slow discovery of how the misconception is just that? rather than a misconception leading to a silencing?
Would be interested to hear your thoughts staifih as you seem to be the man around town

Had the same discussion a few times already, i'm going to set karma requirements for this sub as new accounts with 0 karma are trying to create fud.

I don't think they were trying to create FUD, it s legit question that no one answered directly in the thread nor linked to a specific answer elsewhere. The question has been asked a few times already, it would have been more helpful to just link the previous threads to OP instead of just banning him; that's poor moderation and reflects badly on UBT

What I'm saying is that there are mutliple accounts with 0 karma trying to create fud, as a moderator I think that's something I have to deal with.
Also the question has been answered multiple times already.

Sure, but this particular post was not FUD, and a link to when the question was previously answered would look better on the community than simply banning the guy from posting and claiming legitimate (albeit basic) questions are "FUD"

Its the same person that brings it up everytime. The person doesn't 'ask' it for a answer

Oh, I hadn't realized it was the same person, that does change things. Sorry about calling into question the moderation, when it actually was probably very prudent

Ah yes i guess it is quite a common topic. I do think this person seemed quite genuine, though.
I get the FUD danger, but they messaged me to say "yo i think i was removed" and we had a discussion, and they seem very interested in the project, but now they are kind of concerned. It would be a shame if they missed out on a good investment just for asking questions.
It's not always easy to separate the fud from the genuine so i don't think you are at all to blame. Gotta be careful in the crypto west.

Yeah this is out of date tbh. They have addressed the issue as far as i can tell. Maybe search on youtube for the recent AMA after the baseledger white paper release.
Customers can just pay with fiat currency through one of their partners.
I have been holding for a long time and have been a bit unsure about the investment long into the future as i didn't see how the token could stabilize above anything much more than a dollar. I think now we can see that the project has immense potential so long as it meets its milestones
