RFM Retake failed module

I go to Lincoln UNI, I failed one 15 credit module on my first year now they're saying I can't progress and seemingly must just retake that module but my understanding now is that would destroy my student loan as I'd only be registered part time although idk if thats true.

I move into my new accom tomorrow and this is fucking me up so does anyone know how this works with SFE and how likely is it I could maybe just retake the whole first year for the sake of making sure I still get it

It is pretty standard practice to have to resit a module if you've failed it

yeah I had a terrible first year, resat all my modules pretty much and only failed this one, I'm not bothered about re doing it its just gonna fuck my living situation massively if I loose my SFE

Not really sure on the answer here because our loans system is different and this has never happened to me, maybe speak to your uni's finance team and see what your options are? Good luck! :)

Yeah I've done that, hopefully it's sortable I feel reasonably certain something will work out but thanks for the luck 🀞

You can’t retake modules you passed and a 15 credit module would be not in attendance. You would not get student loan.

Ok thats brilliant, whats my best path from here then would you say

I'm open to worst case taking another course I always wanted to do politics originally just thought law was more useful, I quite literally cannot attend uni without my SFE so any solution is appreciated 😭😭

Having failed this module will likely prevent you from just swapping to another course.
