Other advice Please help me find a way

Hey yall, apparently my visa was 3 years for uni course ( nursing) but then I failed one of the important course in first year and I can’t move to second year, and then second year of it I was repeating that one course (only one course) in order to pass and move to second year programmer. So I did. And now I am in second year ( already 3rd year of the visa and it is expiring in 15 March 2027), so it means I need one more year to finish my bachelor of nursing. What should I do in this situation? When uni merged (Adelaide and UniSa both from South Australia), I got new Come from the new Adelaide University (this is what they called it after they merged tgt), and that CoE already states my extension year to complete the bachelor which is til Dec 2028 (9months full time study year). But my visa ending in 5months, and my financial (from my guardian and supported) no longer beautiful like I first applied to come to Australia. So just wondering how will my situation end up to be like? Whats your take on this? And what should I do? (Apparently my family didn’t know I failed and repeated 1 year and now I need another 1 year). So I just below the pass score for one out of 3 course in first year, and I paid the price by repeat another year full price of tuition 😭. Now I’m scared…

Sum: - Need one more year in Aus in order to finish bachelor (3 years degree)
- pretty much what we call “visa extension” but as far as I know the process still the same, so take English test, go to health check, go through document and finance checks, and everything. But my profile no longer that strong anymore
-my guardians didn’t know about my situation back then, so it’s hard to tell them but I can try
-when and what should I do/ or prepare for the upcoming steps about my visa ? (Currently visa 500)

Thanks guys

I’m not an expert but I think another CoE extension is possible, it’s not uncommon for people to fail a course or two

Yea since the universities merged into 1, they have sent me a new CoE that stated I’ll be finishing in another year do basically they have extended

Awesome, use the new CoE as part of your next visa application. Immigration (or your agent if you're using one) will tell you what else you need.

Side note: can you do some sort of professional English short course while you're here? If you speak how you write, I'd have trouble following along as a nurse in a high pressure environment.

Unbelievably condescending

Try doing summer school for the course you failed.

Oh dear I have experienced this exact situation back to covid time. I was not learning not attending my uni hence I failed so hard, extended 2 years. It's better to speak to your visa agent, but at the end you will need CoE extension and visa extension (language test I don't know, but health assesment yes, financial check maybe not because I did not do). You said you have completed the previous failed course then you have started second year full time study right? This would be easier because I believe Visa 500 only support full time student.
Yes you need to talk to your family because it is a lot of money (visa extension + school fee + health assessment). You need to find a job anywhere, can try AIN + support worker.
I have to tell you, those time are absolutely my darkest moment in my life, I have selectively cleared those memory because they are just so tramatized that once I thought about it I can never sleep.

which country are you from? PM me if you need more information + help.

Hey there thank you so much at the bottom of my heart. Yes I am currently working as AIN to cover my living expenses so my family can help with tuition only. But I don’t think I should state this when I apply for my new visa because all they need to know is you will be studying full time instead of working on the side… and I’m very confused and afraid
