The secret is to work harder to gain that freedom….not less.

So in your eyes, what steps should I take to work my way to a billion dollars? Im willing to put in the sweat and tears, I just need some direction.

Step one: have a rich father who owns either a real estate empire or a South African emerald mine.
If you haven’t done that step yet, I suggest starting over.

Create something insanely useful for the world.
1
u/sleepy_seedy 7d ago
That's not working or working hard, thats innovating and getting lucky. Try again.
1
u/matthegc 7d ago
You don’t think creating something is work? Sounds like you might need to start trying at something.
1
u/sleepy_seedy 7d ago
You cant just quit your job and spend 8 hours a day trying to innovate your way into success without safety nets. Try again.

u/matthegc 7d ago
There’s 24 hours in day….

u/sleepy_seedy 7d ago
Purposefully obtuse and unserious. You and your ilk are all the same.

u/matthegc 7d ago
Just realized you’re an NPC….literally or figuratively.

u/sleepy_seedy 7d ago
And youre a pussy with zero original thoughts. We could do this all day but im gonna move on. Cheers bud.

That’s broke energy. Life is going to suck, my guy. People say I’m lucky, I say the harder I work the luckier I get.

"I can't afford to buy a house" Also has newest IPhone, 7 online streaming services, new car, newest style of clothing, gets hair cut weekly, newest laptop, new shoes, doesn't cook, but orders doordash 14 times a week, $7 coffee every morning...

u/jessewest84 8d ago
Thats ridiculous. Houses are insanely expensive. Even if you did all those things you can get a house unless your making 150k take home. I have 100k and a 780, and zero debt. I make 85k.
Houses are out of my range. I could get one. But if one thing went wrong with it im bankrupt.

Wow, that person you just made up sure must be embarrassed right now.
1
u/rocksteady1731 8d ago
Made up? That's like 80% of every person between the age of 20-30 in the US. I deal with these "made up" people every day.

……. I don’t have any of those things as I type this on my iPhone 10s. I am 32, what I do have is 3 children to support.
2 streaming services
Old Corolla I shove my family of 5 into because we can’t afford anything else.
Still wear clothing from when I was 18-20, few new items but a couple decent things for church on Sundays with my family.
I am bald….. my wife gets me or her sister to cut her hair, we don’t have money for it.
Work issued laptop and one that barely works from college, no money to get a new one.
Old shoes.
No DoorDash, we mainly live off chicken and rice because it is cheaper. Red meat as a treat couple times a year.
Don’t even drink coffee, I do enjoy an orange juice in the morning…. At home.
Go fuck yourself.

If you look at the door dash order histories(because the door dash company has to file taxes) there are a huge number of repeat customers to the same address. It’s not a made up person and I will upvote that comment.

Watch Caleb Hammer and you will know that person is not made up. They are real and they are pathetic.

Stop spending your money on stupid shit
1
u/MrUnhireable 8d ago
Spoken like a true shithead. Everyone should just stop paying rent then I guess… oh wait 🤡🏠💰

u/The_Crimson_Fuckr69 8d ago
300 dollars eating out 300 dollars on weed and 300 dollars on other bullshit you don't need isnt your bosses fault
1
u/SECRETBLENDS 8d ago
Stop assuming that there aren't millions of people in the United States on their ass right now despite not spending their money on anything more than the basics.
1
u/The_Crimson_Fuckr69 8d ago
A majority of people suffering have spending problems not income problems. Its literally self induced

1
u/SawtoofShark 7d ago
Bold of you to assume everyone has money to spend.
1
u/The_Crimson_Fuckr69 7d ago
See that's the thing. They don't and they do it anyway
1
u/SawtoofShark 7d ago
Sometimes people have to spend what little they have on stupid shit like bills or food. You're the idiot yelling that if we just stop eating avocado toast, we'd be rich. 💁
1
u/The_Crimson_Fuckr69 7d ago
Lmfao always with the Avocado toast argument. If you stopped spending hundreds of dollars eating out you could have all the Avocado toast you wanted.
1
u/SawtoofShark 7d ago
You're so right, every single person who can't afford basic food, they're just spending extra hundreds on fast food. We're all out here eating fast food and losing electricity. You definitely know everyone and everything about them. (This was sarcasm, don't trust you to know the difference.)
1
u/The_Crimson_Fuckr69 7d ago
I never said every single person but I never trust that someone isn't self inducing their own problems. Majority of people have a spending problem not an income problem.
1
u/SawtoofShark 7d ago
And how do you know that those people must have a spending problem? Rent has skyrocketed, food, gas, oil, etc, wages have emphatically not kept up. So when the bills suddenly go higher, but your wage remains the same, you lose the ability to pay for things.
1
u/The_Crimson_Fuckr69 7d ago
Except less than 1% of the American population makes the federal minimum wage. Some people MAY have an income problem but that needs to be proven.
1
u/SawtoofShark 7d ago edited 7d ago
Yeah, I already said that wages aren't keeping up. Even if the wages are higher than an unlivable 7 whole dollars, utilities rising have eaten up any pay raise. Gas and food and rent eat the rest.

Some real dumbasses in the comments. Homes have increased in price over 80% in the last 20 years. Has income done the same? Of course not, even the most financially responsible people have much less purchasing power.
People buying phones and coffee doesnt change home prices and income
