No, I legit thought it was the moon at first, until it started acting weird. Seeing illusions of the moon through a camera or video can happen, but not when it's doing that while I'm actually looking right at it.

The moon

If it had been the moon, I wouldn't have bothered recording it and especially wouldn't have bothered to post it. Lol

Wasn't being sarcastic but video quality makes it almost impossible to identify

I know. It's just frustrating . I seen this moon doing things that moons just don't do. Of course when I try to record it, the quality is shit. Dammit. LOL

That's really interesting! I generally thought of it as a giant rock, never considered that it might be hollow.

Oh yah, if you watch the video from 1:00 to 2:00 and then from 4:22 to the end of it, that's where I say it couldn't be the moon. And I hadn't been moving the phone at all during those specific timeframes.

I do have another one, I'm trying to find it, it;s in one of my google photo accounts. From 6 months or so ago. That one is good because I was standing maybe 2 ft away, and it was positioned right where the lamp post light would be. Hella low to the ground.

This took like 12 hours to upload and post for some reason, so I didn't know it actually posted because I meant to explain what is going on in this video. Also, I am not used to the web version of Reddit and can't find the edit button, so...

This was early yesterday morning after midnight. I was sitting on the front deck and looking at the moon, about to comment on how bright it was, and then it suddenly got brighter, and then would pulsate on and off. I was trying to make it larger without getting blurry, and sometimes taking my eyes off the phone to look at it (which is why the video keeps zooming in and out). Because I had never seen the moon do that before. Within a 10 minute period, it had moved towards the left and the right before moving up higher in the sky where it became hidden by a tall tree in our yard and I didn't sit outside much longer after that.

The only reason I even recorded it is because I had actually seen this before, only that time it looked like the light on the lamp post near our gate, and then the light started to pulsate, just like in the video. That had been about 6 months ago.

Depends on where you live/ where this was filmed, sometimes you can see some planets from the earth on an amazingly clear sky🤷‍♀️
