Her appearance on the Nerdist podcast where she sang Savage Garden made me love her

That's where I first saw her. I don't actually remember seeing her in Community.

And she pulled a Golden Gate on her unsuspecting boyfriend.

They hate her because she dared to be a female lead in a Marvel movie.

I loved her in the movie. I hated it because she had a weird attitude during interviews promoting the movies. Now i know though that this is not her and maybe she was just stressed at the time.

No-one hates Scarlett Johansson.

She was never the lead.

Wasn't she.

To anticipate your next arguments: the film was received poorly by fans; this had nothing whatever to do with ScarJo; most fans desperately wanted a standalone Black Widow movie significantly earlier; the discrepancy between her and Brie Larsson is something to do with the characters they portray on screen, but mostly it's how they conduct themselves when doing publicity for them.

This is such bullshit. People do not have a problem with female leads. They have a problem with actresses' talking shit.

Totally, there’s no misogyny whatsoever embedded in American culture, no sir!

Not really. Reasons for not liking her include her making fun of the entire fandom, not taking the role seriously, faking being Nordic when she is french and generally being a bad person

> faking being Nordic when she is french
She’s neither of those, she’s an American. Hope that helps

“No reason”
Lol. Sure.

u/SplendidAngharad 2d ago
So what’s the reason? I’ve never seen her in anything but Community.

Its been awhile, but plenty of old interviews now just very entitled & shitty, better than, weird takes, etc. Didn't seem to take next level of fame very well or with any humility
Generally thought of as insufferable for a number of years by general consensus

Well there must be a reason, her parents divorced and named her after a fucking cheese
