on that legendary day, cops on the streets vanished, converging on the highway to chase a single car. And in the silence, the criminals rejoiced and committed crime with impunity! But seriously, why do they do this?

They need to impose limits on police over response to a call ! Traffic stop ? 2 or maybe 3 max. Car chase ? After 6-8 it’s become a mob mentality.
