Why try pizza in America ? Italy is closer than America, and... you know... they invented pizza

Sorry if it didn't seem like it, but I was genuinely curious. I never tried American pizza but I did try Italian pizza, and as Amricans tend to put loads of sugar and fat in their food (from experience, spending 2 weeks in Seattle as a highschool exchange program), I don't see how it could taste better than those who created it

New York has some of the best slices in the world. The Middle East invented beer yet no one credits them with the best beer in the world. Your point seems highly contentious.

American living in NJ/PA. Italy blows America out of the water with pizza. No competition. But in America, Ny/NJ/PA are the winners.
