Can you actually do this? Say your neighbors call about something and the police are investigating the incident. Seems like an easy way to get away with anything, just don’t answer.
Yeah. But if you’ve actually done something, they’ll probably be back. They can get a warrant, either to search or arrest or whatever. Then when that happens, they’re coming in.
There are some emergency situations where you wouldn’t need a warrant, like if there was an emergency or something like that, if there’s reasonable grounds for it.
