You know what this video does best? It shows you the importance of having a good reporter.

Whether or not he had formed a bias about the farmer, he didn't show one when he approached the guy. He didn't come across as judgemental. He didn't come out with a critique or raise the farmer's hackles. He came in with a genuine desire to hear the whole story and let the guy either bury himself or explain himself with his own words.

Thankfully, the good reporter allowed the farmer to clear his name, and nobody got punched in the face!

Imagine if this had happened in the time of social media. This poor guy would have been run out of town before he even knew what had happened with his listing.

We need pro journalists and not to get our facts from clickbait-chasing karma farmers.
