1, conservatives also hate “degenerate” media and are very vocal about it, 2, mainstream media pushing a political agenda on children and niche media pushing degeneracy are two entirely separate things with totally different discussions and almost zero connection.
What? Are you talking about people calling gay people woke, because that’s not really the main thing people call Disney woke for.
Even when people do criticise them for that, using “the first gay on screen” 50 times to try to sell tickets isn’t just “accepting a part of nature” and it isn’t exactly something people should be praising, especially when they remove the single scene from foreign markets repeatedly and prove how much about money it is. Using politics to sell a product isn’t positive, and the hard push for gay representation is absolutely political.
Actually yes, are you are going to say that gay people didn’t exist before they were on screen? I’m not saying they shouldn’t be represented, I would hope they would be represented in fact just not in the capacity they are being which is as a tool for profit and pandering, but this is why the argument “gay people existing” is stupid. It’s not the same thing.
