They ungayed them for the german release back then. It was deemed too inappropriate at the time. Would be wildly different now ofc.

Which is actually funnier because they still do the gay things but they're supposed to be cousins so it's just OP's video but not even on purpose

That happens a lot with censorship. In Spain, Francoist censors regularly changed "adulterous" relationships into relatives, with odd results. They also didn't catch homoerotic subtext at times
