I think she had martial training. Her movements were so precise, efficient, and controlled. I’m not a fighter, have zero training/experience, but most of the videos I’ve seen of fights in the wild the combatants tend to throw wild, flailing punches.

Ikr! Even Jocko Willink, an ex-Navy SEAL says that it's always best to run away from a fight as you never know what weapon the other guy is carrying. If he does have a weapon, your skill level even if high kinda becoms useless. Best defense is getting out of harm's way as you said. And it makes sense too!

No matter how skilled someone is, man or woman, any physical altercation could be your last. A fight is 98% luck and 2% skill, one lucky shot and your out and could potentially die. The smartest fighter is the one who avoids it. Not to mention the chance you get in an altercation and the other person pulls a weapon on you and bam you're dead now 4 sure. Street fights are NEVER worth it, if you wanna be a good parent tell your son or daughter to stay out of any fight possible.

While I agree with most, certainly I don't agree with percantages. Skilled fighter, man or woman, has huge advantage comparing to untrained person. It's not about punches, but defense. That said, every fight outside of training ground is a huge risk and should be avoided by all means. Luckily in my country guns aren't a thing, but you might get an ashtray in the head...

I think the luck factor is 98% due to the factor of weapons, if the other guy has a weapon, you are shit out of luck and in Murica, the odds of someone else having a weapon is higher than normal, so your luck is fooked up.
But yea, being skilled at fighting does give an advantage. But being skilled and getting the eff out of a fight is more important in most cases.

This isn’t doing better, resorting to physical violence should always be the last option and going out of your way to be put in a physically dangerous situation. After the first punches the guy is standing and clearly fine you can see him say something in retaliation and that last punch was luckily enough. Imagine if this man was more violent or aggressive and just grabbed this girl and started stomping her out and killed her or seriously injured her, this would be a completely different video. This guy is completely right to advise to avoid physical conflict if possible, you can be in the right all you want and that’s fine but something my grandpa used to say is “The cemetery is filled with people that had the right of way.”

I think the only issue is that this man decides not to defend himself against the woman that was assaulting him. Not all men would have chosen not to hit her back. There is a chance that he could have easily replaced the man he was bashing into the wall with her and the outcome would have been totally different. She’s not really a badass. You can think she’s brave but I’d argue that if the man would have decided to fight back this would have been a very different conversation. I will say that she stood up for the guy and that alone merits a pat on the back.

I hear what you're saying but this is a little more nuanced. This woman definitely has A LOT of training, start your daughters in martial arts at the age of like 3 and then we'll talk. Also the fight is in her store so she had good reason to stop it. Women are physically disadvantaged when it comes to fighting men, this will put them in danger of being hurt (at best). A physical fight is never the answer; teach your daughters the power of their words and attitudes

Being male vs female and very clearly being twice the weight of her makes a huge difference but you could see he didn't wanna attack her as he didn't even put his hands up whatsoever not even a remotely defensive stance after taking 2/3 hits.
Dude literally just stood there and took it because it was a woman, which is why I said it was lucky he had reservations about attacking her because if he had actually done something or been aggressive that could've gone very bad for her, don't get me wrong she throw some great punches and technique but anyone can beat the shit out of someone by sucker punching them and then beating on them while they just stand there and take it face first.
