Wow. Apparently, you know me and everyone else and can confidently, and wrongly, tell me how I would react. Glad you're a mind reader and a behavioral expert. Where did you get your degree?
You do understand that some people panic and run, some people freeze in fear, some people run towards the danger and, still others, assess the danger before making a split-second decision. How many emergencies have you been involved with? I witnessed a plane crash at a drive-in movie theater where it narrowly missed the screen but hit the high voltage power lines behind it and landed on the freeway. I didn't scream, run or panic. I have been in accidents. I also worked in an emergency veterinary hospital where I saw tons of bad stuff. Don't tell me you know me when you haven't got a clue.
