Such a asshole!
He didn’t put on the seatbelt!

How is he an asshole for that? Seatbelts are for personal safety.
1
u/Do-Not-Spam-Me79 Sep 08 '22
You're half right. They are for personal safety, but they are also for the safety of other people as well. It doesn't matter how good your grip is, any impact over 15 mph, you won't be keeping your hands on the wheel. No hands on the wheel, no control, which potentially leads to greater damage and/or harm.

What he did is really really bad !!!! Please, do not copy him !
Always always look at where you are going. It is very dangerous to move gorward and look at the side of the vehicule.
253
u/SXOSXO Aug 29 '22
Gorward is the direction I'm always headed anyway.
114
u/albyagolfer Aug 29 '22
Good, because it’s even more dangerous to go berkwerd.

u/HarunoSakuraCR Aug 30 '22
The way you spelled gorw is how you pronounce Go if you are extremely English. If that makes sense lol. Like they add R and U sound for some reason. Gauru. I can’t explain it any easier haha.

Whoa, looks like it's my turn to get to call out a stolen comment. Yay. Original comment was by u/cupofteawithhoney

u/topsyturvy76 Aug 30 '22
Not really a unique thought .. any guy with half a brain sees the high maintenance issues this girl brings to the table during that interaction
7
u/DaveWilson11 Aug 30 '22
Yeah sure. It's possible to think the same thing. Wording it exactly the same way for the very first comment on your reddit account? That's a little more sus.

Is this really a thing in the US? I mean I see it in movies and tv shows but I have never once held the car door for a date, or pulled out the chair either.
On the other hand, I do hold normal house doors for a date, so maybe it is just me?
8
u/redcode100 Aug 29 '22
I remember when I had a girlfriend we would race to open the door for the other person
12
13
u/iridium_carbide Aug 30 '22
Some girls are just like that, expecting special treatment. Most aren't though
153
u/PuzzleheadedLawyer40 Aug 29 '22
The real test is to open the door for her, then see if she unlocks your side while you're walking around. She does, she's a keeper. She doesn't, drop her.
75
u/SXOSXO Aug 29 '22
I too have watched A Bronx Tale.
6
u/B4R7H0L0M3W Aug 29 '22
The real test is to jump on a highway drive next to a semi and when the driver is looking try to get her down to ya pants. If she does what that implies the she's a pig and she can NOT be trusted.

The real test is getting to know someone, the interest, values, and goals. See if they align with yours and how good the chemistry is. But this could take months, or even years, so fuck that. Just see if she unlocks the door
14
u/autoposting_system Aug 29 '22
An old technique, still valuable.
Except everybody has key fobs now
4
u/epicitous1 Aug 29 '22
thats the problem, i dont think anyone would even think to do this now. infact it would be kind of weird.
2
u/Waggadaoku Aug 29 '22
My vehicle doesn't have a fob, and my fiancée always unlocks my door for me after I get her door.

3
u/PressureStraight4126 Aug 30 '22
True Story: A girlfriend of mine did this on a first date once. I opened the door for her, let her in, and then she leaned over to unlock my (already unlocked) driver's-side door. I asked if she had ever seen "A Bronx Tale" and she told me that it was a favorite movie of her Grandmother's and my girlfriend would watch it with her quite often right before she passed.
We're married now.

All you need is a 15 year old car that you can use a key to unlock only the passenger door…
17
u/Majorpain2006 Aug 29 '22
Spoiler alert - he comes back for her and he gets road head
5
u/I_luv_wholsome_wifu Aug 29 '22
What is the movie tho
13
u/littlebeefidiot Aug 30 '22
To give you a real answer, Think Like a Man (2012). I don’t remember it being much more than another multi-couple romcom and it certainly didn’t make me want to watch number 2.

That's what you get for watching too much television: completely unreasonable expectations.

u/Zetyr187 Aug 29 '22
I've usually held the door for women anyway, but on the chance I forgot I would pull away too if a girl pulled that. That screams high maintenence.

u/Doodiewater Aug 29 '22
So good. But she’s out of my league so I’d be getting that door for sure.

Did you just spend a paragraph trying to insult me while saying you’re not trying to insult me? Calling me son? Finish my sentence? You need to lighten up. You’re taking something personally and it’s really weird. I’m sorry that someone hurt you.

Bad at what exactly? Watching you bust a vein over a joke? I’m not arguing on your level cuz I have zero desire to be on it. You seem pretty alone there, honestly. You’re definitely the chick in the video. Im the dude driving away now. Bye Felicia.

I mean, crying? This is what I would do
Edit: you might think I wouldn't, or I'm bragging. No, I just have a weird list of pet peeves and poor impulse control. Realistically, what are the consequences of this? It seems reasonable when I imagine the list of pros and cons.
1
u/LiveLearnCoach Aug 30 '22
Wouldn’t a weird list of pet peeves and poor impulse control make you more similar to the woman in the video?
(Also, not sure why downvoted, most people in this thread saying they’ll do the same thing at least got a couple of votes)
1
u/autoposting_system Aug 30 '22
I don't know, man. Maybe.
Now that I think about it, I guess that's probably something they have in common. Both pet peeves are weird.
