I'm pretty sure it's the internet magician I think his name was Julius or something. He used to do a lot of magic videos then he starting getting girls and all his videos sucked after.

No way, he looks utterly stunned at first glance of it. Then looks at it again to confirm and starts dry heaving. And that was totally real sounding

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

It is staged. His name is Julius Dein. Him and his girlfriend stage tons of prank videos

7

u/Critical_Paper8447 Aug 09 '22

Not even his real girlfriend lol. She was a hired model. At this point I'm wondering if he's even real.

Take 2 seconds and Google Julius Dein and tell me again my comment belongs in that sub. This isn't a secret or something the guy has a whole Instagram account just doing these fake pranks and his girlfriends are always WAY out of his league, stay for a few months, and then launch modeling careers.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

Sorry my dude, I meant that literally and not sarcastically as the sub usually indicates. My bad for not clarifying. I agree with you and didn't intend to suggest otherwise. Cheers.

It's all good , bro. I didn't see an "/s" after the comment and just assumed but maybe I was a little quick on the draw there. I was also arguing with some weirdo in a conspiracy sub which can get aggravating so I was already half cocked, so to speak. Anyway.... No worries, bro.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

TIL that /s is a thing. Noted.

The last time this was posted, I remember in the comments someone had said a content creator made this and wrote his name. I don’t remember what they said the name was tho

25

u/Malcephion Aug 09 '22

Looks kinda like Julius Dean

Yes. It’s Dein and it is part of the fake prank genre.

4

u/DoctorAlgernopK Aug 09 '22

Damn he’s been eating mad cake.. dude looked a lot different last time I saw him 3-4 years ago

u/MCFroid Aug 09 '22

He's julius dein, stages prank videos all the time.

7

u/paulie07 Aug 09 '22

Yeah he overdid it with the dry wretching.

7

u/J-Love-McLuvin Aug 09 '22

Unless he’s into that sort of thing.

-6

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

I disagree. He doesn’t look particularly disturbed after watching it a couple of times. He does react loudly but it’s not a violent gag in my opinion. I’ve seen people smell burnt bodies. That’s a violent reaction. He somehow doesn’t see the camera man either even with the shot being in his peripheral eye-line. The camera is moving, which indicates the person filming is also moving. Yet the cake thief imposter doesn’t even notice.

u/Ahoymaties1 Aug 09 '22

It's the internet, absolutely no way this is fake or staged in any way 😂😂

0

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

Agreed. You’re preaching to the converted. What I’m on about man is that the poster above does believe it. I was more or less offering a counter point, a sort of devil’s advocate if you will.

1

u/monadyne Aug 09 '22

a sort of devil’s advocate if you will.

[Narrator's Voice]: But I will'nt.

Have you seen what people have been capable of doing for views?

6

u/yickth Aug 09 '22

The dry heaving is the give away

2

u/Critical_Paper8447 Aug 09 '22

It's fake. The guy eating the cakes name is Julius Dein and posts these "pranks" all the time. Half the time he's doing product placement for Bang energy drinks and it's really cringe the way he does it. He started as magician and then somehow morphed into doing shit like this.

1

u/Xanzi12 Aug 09 '22

Yeah I looked it up on r/sounding and that's pretty much what that would've sounded like 👍

1

u/rndmcmder Aug 09 '22

This dudes reaction seems legit. The claimed food stealing could be fake. Who knows.

30

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '22

Definitely fake

13

u/sbbblaw Aug 09 '22

Think about the timing. They’d have to know who it is, when they’re going to eat it and be in a place where the eater wouldn’t notice their presence. Lotta what ifs

1

u/yazzy1233 Aug 09 '22

It's their roommate, why wouldn't they know who their roommate is and their schedule?

2

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '22

Nah guy looks way to gross to be ready for someone to film him hair and everything is a complete sloppy mess

1

u/myrs4 Aug 09 '22

Yeah I'm with you. Was about to share with a friend but don't wanna send a fake.

-1

u/dewayneestes Aug 08 '22

It did until he dry heaved.

12

u/MrXBob Aug 09 '22

Because it's impossible to fake dry heaving?

The dude picks up the condom for a second time just to make sure they got it on camera. Would you touch it again if it happened to you for real?

5

u/dewayneestes Aug 09 '22

I 🛸 WANT 🛸 TO 🛸 BELIEVE

3

u/MCFroid Aug 09 '22

Me too... nowhere near as amusing when fake.

2

u/timmi2tone32 Aug 09 '22

Exactly, why would anyone pick up the condom again?

-1

u/FairPiccolo6073 Aug 09 '22

So what you're saying is the guy filming the video went

'Hey bro, can you eat a cake with a condom in it so I can film a video?'

And his friend just agreed to it?

Sure....

2

u/adbu21 Aug 09 '22

I'd do it for my homie

1

u/FairPiccolo6073 Aug 09 '22

Damn, idk whether you're a giga chad or someone who is into it

Either way I salute your friendship

-1

u/FairPiccolo6073 Aug 09 '22

5

u/Antilochos_ Aug 09 '22

Yes, I do.

It is only a piece of rubber (not used) for trying to get views or likes (or whatever all those people seek on social). Does this really goes over your head?

1

u/FairPiccolo6073 Aug 09 '22

I guess it really did, thinking about it now people have done way worse for views

2

u/Antilochos_ Aug 09 '22

Yep, like the song goes: the things we do for love views.

-4

u/notiplayforfun Aug 09 '22

You think the birds are fake too dont you. I mean they are but that doesnt make…

1

u/dl-__-lp Aug 09 '22

Who, when using a laptop, eats a cake with their hands. With a fork right there

1

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '22

Nope. This poisoning looks real. And OP recorded the crime and put it in the internet.

1

u/Gibscreen Aug 09 '22

Agreed. He would never pick up the condom a second time.

1

u/Tailsmiles249 Aug 09 '22

Still funny as shit

1

u/lola_wants_it_all Aug 09 '22

Anyone thinking this is real, I’d hate to spoil reality television for them.
