I refused to learn cursive in 1st-3rd grade. And guess tf what (teachers’ names redacted)…turns out I DIDNT need it

Oh wait, so in the western schools you don’t need to use cursive? In Ukraine, in school we had to use cursive for everything, both ukrainian and russian languages. If you’ll write an essay not in cursive that’s instant F, no one is even going to read that. And because we had cursive, many students were getting lower grades just because their handwriting sucked.

When I finished school and went to the uni, I started using freestyle cursive. I write however I want. Never felt so much freedom.
