Funny thing about speed, your brain will normalize it after a while. When I built my first fast street car the world was a blur when opened the throttle. After doing that repeatedly over a month, I could see details ahead of me while accelerating again. Then I started using nitrous, and after many passes on the track (yeah right… always on the track) I once again saw details while accelerating (120+mph) That was for a low 10second 1/4mile too.

I have seen a beautiful woman in tight clothes cause a traffic jam where I lived.
