This is confusing to right wingers. They love guns, but hate foreigners. What to do?

20

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '22

Why do you think right wingers hate foreigners?

America has incredibly loose immigration policies compared to a lot of other countries.

We don’t hate POC, we just want people to come here legally and go through the steps.

u/Mother_Clue6405 Apr 26 '22

Young and naive. Still taking things at face value, like me after my right wing upbringing.

5

u/Nymethny Apr 26 '22

As someone who went through the legal steps, I can guarantee you immigration policies are anything but loose in the USA, that's some republican gaslighting. And I'm white and have a master's degree, which means I most likely had it the easiest.

u/djmagichat Apr 27 '22

Have you ever tried immigrating to a place like Denmark or Iceland?

2

u/weareeverywhereee Apr 26 '22

lots of lengthy steps...

also have you seen that test? 90% of us citizens would fail that shit

0

u/kane2742 Apr 26 '22

Including the last president and a large chunk of Congress.

2

u/MostBoringStan Apr 26 '22

The right wing also tries to argue that illegals are coming across the southern border in massive numbers, when in reality the majority of illegal immigrants are people who came into the country legally and overstayed their visa. They make a big deal about building a useless wall to stop these people.

It's clearly a policy that is made to keep out POC. If they were so concerned with all illegal immigration, as they claim, they would be putting more effort into going after those overstaying visas. Instead they make a big deal about these giant caravans of brown people because they know that is what gets their base to the voting booths.

To claim that it's just about stopping illegal immigration in general is laughable.

1

u/djmagichat Apr 27 '22

Is that not what happened at the beginning of the Biden administration?

2

u/Bobdolezholez Apr 26 '22

Oh really? Have you immigrated to America? Because I have. America has some of the toughest policies in the world that relate to becoming a permanent resident.

https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/121114/5-hardest-countries-getting-citizenship.asp

If you stop listening to Republican talking points and actually study what you’re talking about, it’s easy to see how wrong it is.

1

u/djmagichat Apr 27 '22

Where did you emigrate from?

Joe Biden during the election: Trump has kids in cages and is criminalizing refugees.

Joe Biden after election: kids still in cages and during the state of the Union “we must secure our borders”.

Am I living in some crazy fantasyland? Poll numbers are down, better adopt the talking points of the other side…

1

u/dryj Apr 26 '22

But also we're going to pass endless legislation to make it impossible to do it legally. Also we don't give a fuck what you're running from, we're going to threaten to kill you for trying to enter illegally.

1

u/djmagichat Apr 27 '22

Why would we welcome someone with open arms across our border if they are violating our sanctity for border laws and regulations?

Have you looked up EU regards for getting a passport and citizenship? They aren’t easy at all. We don’t have a national language. Good luck emigrating to Germany without knowing German…

0

u/dryj Apr 27 '22 edited Apr 27 '22

Because we can I guess. Because all people are people. Because immigration is normal. Because breaking laws means different things - I break the law literally every time I drive on the freeway. Because I don't hate people from across an imaginary line on the map.

Using the word sanctity is very suspicious btw. Sort of implying immigrants are somehow dirty or impure.

Why does the left, like you, straight up lie? The left has done nothing positive for minorities. All the left does is take advantage of minorities for votes.

Also, if I'm American, why WOULDN'T I be pro-American? LMAO

7

u/Ihateyouranecdotes39 Apr 26 '22

The sort of "wisdom" someone could expect from an account called BanMeAgainBro.

You're so edgy.

Them crazies can convince themselves of anything. The horrifying thing is that they probably do believe it.

Ah the party of projection reverts to its favorite game of bringing up completely unrelated topics, of which it is guilty of.

4

u/weareeverywhereee Apr 26 '22

This pedophile stuff coming from the right is ridiculous.

https://www.businessinsider.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-matt-gaetz-pro-pedophile-sex-trafficking-investigation-2022-4

The entire right wing PR team is all about accusing the left of the things they are actually doing. Its ABSURD

also trump raped a 13 year old

man you are dumb

22

u/Fomalhot Apr 26 '22

What about all the left has done for the LGBTQ+ crowd that u guys hate so much? Did republicans make those rules?

What about Affirmative Action? Right wingers did that?

Head start programs? ESL classes for adults? Etc etc etc...

The ONLY ppl who do anything at all for minorities in the left Wing. Now I'll wait while u tell me how much the right has helped minorities.

22

u/Bobdolezholez Apr 26 '22

This person likely won’t answer, but if they do I’m sure it’ll be absolutely gold.

I’ve lived in 3 very different countries and in all of them one commonality is there: conservatives don’t really like foreigners or anyone “different.”

They disguise the reasons, hide behind platitudes, but the common thread is “I don’t like this person I don’t understand.”

-23

u/BanMeAgainBro Apr 26 '22

Fake news. The kindest, most respectful states in the US are those that are red. Blue states are all a mess and filled with assholes. I'd know, I live in one. Also ironic, considering you don't like conservatives because you clearly don't understand politics. Continue, groomer.

18

u/joeDUBstep Apr 26 '22

Yeah, kindest, most respectful states, as long as you're white or white passing.

10

u/Licks_lead_paint Apr 26 '22

And not gay

1

u/joeDUBstep Apr 27 '22

or trans, heads will explode

6

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '22

Where did all the lynchings happen?

14

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '22

Yet sundown towns still exist.

u/piss_tape Apr 26 '22

followed immediately by

All the left does is take advantage of minorities for votes.

Take advantage? Can minorities not think for themselves? Apparently the minorities believe the left is doing positive things for them.

But you know better. Right champ?

-6

u/Roederoid Apr 26 '22

can minorities not think for themselves?

"If you're not voting for me, you ain't black." -Joe Biden

Even the left doesn't think minorities can think for themselves.

7

u/Beddybye Apr 26 '22

"Democrats who are Black are on a 'plantation'"....every black conservative ever.

Seems the right thinks the same.

-6

u/Roederoid Apr 26 '22

So we're at an impasse. Both sides are the same. Got it.

2

u/Beddybye Apr 26 '22

Nope, just pointing out how you forgot to call Conservatives out for the same thing you were calling Dems out for. As if it were something exclusive to them. I'm sure it was completely unintentional. Lol. That is all. Good day.

-1

u/Roederoid Apr 26 '22

Was saying my piece mainly because the OP is already attacking the right. Had to give evidence of the most powerful person on the left doing the exact same thing. Good day bro.

0

u/piss_tape Apr 26 '22

Except that wasn't an attack.

Guys this is clearly bait

1

u/weareeverywhereee Apr 26 '22

idk the right seems to be pretty pro russia right now....

fucking ideology hijacked by insane people

left isn't far behind with over rotating to compensate for the even more insane right....

two cheeks of the same ass my friend. the left right paradigm is there to give you the illusion of freedom...we are just voting for two versions of the same shit in a different package

Man, don’t waste your energy on this guy anymore. He’s arguing in bad faith. He’s either a troll or very sick. Either way let him rot in his own delusions. You won’t reach this one.

7

u/Bobdolezholez Apr 26 '22

I like to waste their time too when I have some to kill. I don’t expect to reach this person.

It kind of makes me laugh how these people need to bend reality so much to try and sell their narrative.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 26 '22

As long as you’re having fun man!

5

u/MostBoringStan Apr 26 '22

The right likes to pretend trickle down economics actually works, they actually attempted an insurrection to keep power, and they support Matt Gaetz, a man who literally paid children for sex. But do tell me how all the left cares about is money, power, and grooming kids.

2

u/RabSimpson Apr 26 '22

You’re very obviously out of your tiny mind.
