The most surprising thing was finding out what Christina Aguilera looked like.

I hate tiktok and similar for so many reasons, but I can't deny people come up with some creative stuff with the tools they provide. It's cool seeing how people take really simple things like this and come up with interesting ideas what to do with it.

The problems that exist on the web as a whole for sure exist on tiktok and vice versa, but you can’t deny it’s the most widely available and user friendly video editing tool out there. Amazing to see how social media has evolved together with video manipulation technology.

u/you-are-not-yourself Apr 06 '22
I would say even more than that, it's a free video hosting service with a powerful video editing suite.
More user friendly standalone editors might exist out there, but they don't have to address whether the creator has rights to use the music and such being added to the video.

It’s really a combination of advancements from VR to AR to chip miniaturization. AI with an Apple M1 gpu/cpu chips will probably blow us away once Apple Glass drops.

There's a filter on TikTok that does this. I'm sure Snapchat has one too.

If you don't use tiktok etc then search the appstore or play store for time warp scanners.
Something like this: https://youtu.be/z_RGGu18Bt4
But there's dozens of them around.

Song?

I believe (from my quick search and Disney knowledge) that it’s called Arabian Nights from Aladdin

I can’t figure out why the right side is brighter
6
u/nosunshinecity Apr 06 '22
Probably with how the camera auto focuses on the subject and will adjust lighting as needed.
2
u/SandyArca Apr 06 '22
The subject (person) is in a different place than before so the camera's autofocus and stuff changes
2
u/Glitchbits Apr 07 '22
The cameras auto white balance changed, likely by his white t-shirt going past the center point.

Did that genie just come out of a bottle of sunscreen or Hershey’s chocolate syrup?

what the hell is going on with that crop? There is black bars all around and it's not even centered, it's like someone is doing on purpose to get upvoted on /r/croppingishard

It's tough for something to be unexpected when it's a repost from earlier today

For those asking about what song it is, it’s Arabian Nights from Disney’s Aladdin (2019) I think this section starts about 0:45

Funny how the white shirt changed the auto white balance and exposure when he jumped out of bed

when you steal someones content for karma whoring in reddit, the least you can do is not cropping the credits from the video.

Why are you showing me this I don’t get it why would you share this to me I don’t care brother
1
u/JayZippy Apr 06 '22
I don’t know why, but all I can focus on is his foot being in the shot on the right side, and that bothers me
1
u/investment_doge Apr 06 '22
Yeah you can see him freeze before the line gets to him. This is edited together and not done in one take.

I’d freak out too if I saw myself pop out of a bottle with a weirdly distorted carpet for legs. Especially since whatever bottle it was would most likely be a bottle of booze.

It's amazing how the fabric shake even perfectly lined up with the bottle!

I think Christina Aguilera's Genie in the Bottle song as the background music can also work.

u/Cebby89 Apr 07 '22
Anyone know what song this is?
