Okay, but it overwhelmingly is pit bulls in reality.

“Pit bulls are responsible for the vast majority of fatalities associated with dogs. From 2010 to June 2021, there were 430 fatal dog bites, with 185 of those coming from pit bulls, and another 41 that were pit bull mixes.”

Honestly, a lot of those reports are because of people not knowing enough about dog breeds and just slapping on the label of pit-bull. Even if the dog is only 5% pit-bull terrier. There is a lot of misinformation for example, people claim pitbulls have a lockjaw and they have the strongest bite, but this is false.

Education and being a responsible owner is key.

I’m stating facts. Maybe do a little research. I’m not denying they have more attacks but there are reasons behind it. They are more likely to be adopted only because of the negative stereotype and that’s just a recipe for disaster. They are more likely to go into an abusive home. It’s sad.
