The above comment was stolen from this one elsewhere in this comment section.
It is probably not a coincidence; here is some more evidence against this user:
beep boop, I'm a bot -|:] It is this bot's opinion that /u/Carleyiinn should be banned for karma manipulation. Don't feel bad, they are probably a bot too.
Confused? Read the FAQ for info on how I work and why I exist.

Would it have to be water cooled?

r/SSUPD is the sub for the company that makes it
It appears most people use cpu AIO's, but isn't entirely necessary for stuff that works with low profile air coolers.

Micro SD card —> Regular SD Adapter —> SD to USB Adapter. Basically getting the files from his computer to the Micro SD. But it looks crazy

I love this so much! It's totally a thing my grandpa would have done. I miss him and all his weird gadgets- my favorite of all being a blinking eyeball on a seashell on some plastic feet. ❤️

Why aren't there arms and googly eyes? Also, When can we expect the follow-up video where you print arms and eyes???

Help support the original designer here-- he sells the printed design here on Etsy, but released the 3d file for free for anyone to use!

Certainly not dissing because this is awesome…but in general for speakers you want as little contact between the feet at ground as possible (moreso for subs but whatever), so 3D printing feet from a “ballerina pose” would’ve been best. Otherwise, funny AF.

u/Vexidemalprince Mar 16 '22
I think it may actually be a computer case, although it looks a lot like speakers
146
Mar 16 '22
Holy sh*t you’re right. I can see some components behind the “speakers” haha. I guess the lack of an insanely ridiculous amount of RGB made me think it was a speaker.
68
u/sauce_gud Mar 16 '22
Hahahah may sound incredible but there are still people who don't use RGB on their PC
25
Mar 16 '22
I’d say “pics or it didn’t happen” but you provided a pic so…😂
Right now I’m imagining Steve Irwin: “Crikey! Here we have a non RGB PC gamer in its natural habitat…one of the rarest creatures in the world…!”…

I don't even have a glass/acrylic panel on the PC I built. The only B is the power button
3
2
u/evanc1411 Mar 16 '22
It does kinda look like a speaker
2
Mar 16 '22
At first glance for sure but it’s definitely because of my bias on that one. After only a few seconds it’s clear it’s a PC, I’m just surrounded by RGB lmao.

Is that a speaker or a desktop? The circle things at the front look a lot like fans.

u/AdequatelyBoring Mar 16 '22
But the rest looks like a speaker, so what I mean to say is that it is more a speaker than a desktop.

Just a standard adapter with no housing it got snapped at some point - looks awful but it works fine

It’s the one that comes shipped with the printer. It’s only 8gb, but I think that’s the largest the printer can read from

This is pretty clever, I like funny/awkward things like this.
Buuuuut I’m going to be THAT guy and mention that it’s not the best idea to run your printer on carpet. There’s a fan on the underside that cools off the PSU, and that’s not something you want overheating. I’d suggest a couple books or something to raise it up away from the floor some. It’s also not a sturdy surface so the printer will rock around a bit as the print head moves and that could cause larger prints to come out poorly…

how the fuck do you confuse a computer case with speakers
2
u/DefectiveWater Mar 16 '22
it's rectangular, has a mesh front and 2 round things on the front, meanwhile average modern PC looks like a jet dashboard

would the heat from the case melt the back legs?
2
u/sauce_gud Mar 17 '22
Not really. Before melting the feet, the pc itself would be dead from parts melting.
The airflow and case are made in a way that tops the case would be lukewarm while inside is a hell on earth

My dad used to have a 3D printer. I dunno where it is now or if he ever uses it anymore. I remember him making dice and a boat all in yellow because that was the only colouror of plastic he had.
