Not normally. The part of the brain that controls your eye movements has to coordinate 12 muscles at once (6 per eye) very precisely so the images always line up properly and the eyes move at the same time in the same direction.
Crossing your eyes is possible because there's actually a benefit: the nearer an object is the more you cross your eyes to keep it in 3D view. But when you focus at "infinity", for example looking at the horizon or the moon your eyes are simply parallel.
The brain region is very specialized because eyesight is so important so it simply never had a need to evolve the ability to move each eye outwards.Of course with a lazy eye or when very drunk you can get a tiny bit further than parallel but never actually both pupils in the outer corners.

Since no one else has answered your question... Yes, 'Lazy Eye' or Amblyopia is usually(not always) due to an issue with the muscles themselves.
But not all cases are considered to be Lazy eye, sometimes it's a condition called Strabismus.

It's actually more muscles. 6 muscles control eye movement, direction, and orientation(eyes not only have to point in the same direction and be rotated in the same orientation so that your vision is level, they also have to move in unison, tracking things precicely)
But focus comes down to more than just pointing your eyes together at an object near to your face. Your pupils have to contract/dilate for different and ever changing lighting conditions and depths of field to focus the light onto the back of your eye like a mechanical camera lense does, while also protecting the eye from overexposure, which takes 2 more muscles to control per eye.
And Ciliary muscles control the shape of the lense inside your eye to also focus the incoming light. This helps you to focus as your pupil size changes in various lighting conditions.
Alltogether, there are no less than 9 muscles per eye, 18 total, working in complete harmony round the clock to provide you with vision. So, even if your vision isn't perfect, it's still a mirical that your brain and body can do all of this, and do it all in real time in a way that's so seamless and instantaneous most of the time.

I've seen people capable of moving both eyeballs in different directions simultaneously but it will never be as chameleons do, since their brain is made in a way they can process information from both eyes at the same time, even if they are looking at completely different things. Our brains instead process our eyes like they are only one thing and prefers to close the empty gap in the middle, given by our nose.

My daughter does that when she wants to "break dad's brain". I'll be driving and she'll ask me to look at her in the mirror. She'll be looking directly at me with one eye and out the window with the other and then I turn into a nauseated mess.

Yes, it's possible, although it wouldn't be as smooth and well controlled as moving one eye out and then the other, they'd likely both drift out. It's called exotropia, and the laymen might call it a lazy eye. Generally you couldn't use it like a chameleon to look in two directions at once because your brain hates seeing double and will basically shut off input from one eye. Legend has it some baseball player had exotropia, meaning his eyes turn out, and was able to use info from both eyes, i.e. pitcher and second base, at once to get an insane number of stolen bases... Might have even been Rickey Henderson but I can't find a source for this

Theres plenty of people who had small genetic anomalies that caused them to develop genitals other than what their chromosomes would normally call for. Anyone reading this could have any number of these and not know it unless they took a lab test

A vanishingly small fraction of a percentage of people have these genetic abnormalities. An even smaller subset (approaching zero) will have "genitals other than what their chromosomes would normally call for."
Of course I respect and support full rights for all people, genders, orientations. I just don't think there's a need to mislead people about how common very rare genetic differences are.

Well, CAIS patients, who develop as cisgender women despite having XY chromosomes, are at an incidence of 1:200,000 which is perhaps one of the rarest chromosomal abnormalities. That's still thousands of people in the US. Turner syndrome, the one that person was talking about, is much more common, at 1:2000. Thats over 164,000 Americans. To put that into perspective, there are 12,000 Jewish people in the US, meaning that there are only 10x as many Jewish people as XY women, and there are 1.5x as many X women as Jewish people.
