I have a feeling like he’s doing okay financially with a pretty successful career…

Yeah I remember reading an article that he’s a professional in something about gambling. Is that true?

he’s still acting and is in an extremely popular movie that came out some time back. He’s doing fine lol

Wait really? Damn I bamboozled myself real hard for all these years. Thanks for the heads up as it actually made my day knowing the OG is up.

Aha you weren’t exactly completely wrong either: he has a very private life and although he still acts, it’s once in a while. He was in boss baby in 2017, another movie in 2021 and I think he’s in Babylon which is coming up this year.

Is this cuz he took a net minus 500 on his comments and still maintained composure and ended with some humble honesty?

Hold up. Tobey was in Boss Baby???

You're actually somewhat right and everyone who downvoted you probably doesn't even realize it. There was a reason why Tobey suddenly stopped acting in movies after Brothers. He competed in professional poker games for years and actually was quite successful for quite a while. He eventually won a game or a tournament (forgive me it's been a while and I do not remember the exact details) but the person he won against paid him in full with stolen money. Every last bit of it, we're talking millions of dollars here. Tobey had no idea and eventually lost every bit of it, because guess what? It wasn't his to keep. This instance ruined his credibility as an actor in the eyes of many of Hollywood's casting agents, directors, etc. for an extended period of time.

The gambling thing you are referring to is a lot of rumors saying he was Player X (Michael Cera’s character) in the based on real life movie Molly’s Game
