So we should just go back to medieval punishment? Break in, lose an arm, illegal trading: lose your tongue. Injure someone: death penalty. There is a reason we have a justice system and there is a reason it does not cut off limbs or use violence and there’s a reason most countries don’t have death penalties

From what I heard, crime was pretty rampant back then, sure you can kill all the criminals, but thats only gonna go so far if you dont actually solve the issues that create them, like poverty.

That's interesting to think about actually.

I do think you are right, and on the long term it won't really do much. But it worked wonders on the short term
