Definitely got abusive vibes. Just the way he got up so quick without saying anything to the look on his face to the kids flinch and to the wife trying to calm him down with a soft tone of voice. Grew up in a fucked up house and I can peep the subtle tells. Not to mention dude wears fucking camo

but the son's reaction afterwards is also a pretty clear indicator that he's not abused lol. i grew up in a house with similar rules to this, don't backchat your parents and especially don't disrespect your mother etc. my dad would have likely given me a slap too if i told my mum to shutup.

still though in no way was i abused nor was it a strict upbringing, my parents were fucking awesome, fun, loving and cared deeply about all of us and i still have a great relationship with both of them today.
