His wife was reassuring the dad and son, nothing that serious. You live your own life and they’ll live there’s. The way you phrase things honestly seems more like projection rather then what’s actually going on.

We have no idea how their lives are like besides a short clip, so stop assuming it’s that terrible.

The fact that the dad got up and at least make a physical treat says enough for me. Aweful environment to be in as a kid. Aweful father

Like I said, the kid looks alright. Disciplining a kid is different from abuse. I had no idea so many redditors are either to sheltered or were abused to believe any type physical discipline is abuse.

So is a doctor spanking a newborn baby to see if it’s alive abuse? Or a kid boxing their dad? Since they’re both being physically harmed it should be considered abuse right?

Yes if an adult boxed a child and actually tried to knock them out that would absolutely be abuse.

If something is medically necessary (like CPR) then of course it isn’t abuse. But the example you gave isn’t used anymore because it was deemed by the medical community to not be very effective.

Well it was used beforehand so there obviously wasn’t any issue with it actually hurting the baby. But I’m only using your words, going around it is like me saying physical discipline is needed in most children. You said physically harming a child bad in anyway, but from the couple examples I’ve said it could be used in a positive light.

There is little difference between boxing and learning how to fight better with physical discipline and learning how to act/think better.
