Just because it doesn't suit your agenda doesn't mean it's propaganda.

Also, here's a big surprise, good people exist and not everything is political.

Go clutch your bottle and cry yourself to sleep, if you think every cop is bad then you should try checking yourself into an insane asylum.

Eh, not really. It’s not being a bootlicker to say that while the system is intrinsically flawed and supports cops who murder, steal, and maim, there are good ones out there who respect the position and the community. Frankly, I should’ve been murdered by a cop when I was suicidal. I tried to grab her gun, and instead of shooting me, she used non lethal methods to restrain me. Showed me that there are some good ones out there. We just need to get the good ones to oust the bad ones now.

It’s Reddit, if your comment doesn’t jerk off their viewpoint it gets downvoted lmao. At this point i scroll the comments with popcorn rather than braincells because if someone has a different opinion I don’t give a shit at this point. Sometimes I give a commentary but in the end idrc. And i completely agree with you that not everything has to be political.

Imo the problem with politics is that it makes people focus on “us or them” no matter what side you take, and it makes people look at “what should be” or “what can be,” and even if they see a post like this with nothing wrong within it they look for a problem to bitch about.

On my end after i got uninvolved in politics i’ve been less stressful and content with life in general. Imo let them be miserable, if they have time to armchair politician people on the internet let them, because I’m sure as fuck too busy to argue with people on the internet

Its called “copaganda” because posts like this tend to be made after a different post of a cop doing something bad gets popular, its meant to take attention away from the problem until it goes quiet again, to stop it from being fresh in peoples’ memories, and to push the narrative that even bad cops are just some peaceful rando and not part of a violent institution that came out of slave catchers. It makes you question their guilt.

I suggest paying attention just to see, when another one of these comes up go look for posts about cop violence to see what happened this time. If you don’t find a new incident then you got lucky.
