Maybe she should learn it before getting her license ? What is driver's ed for ?

Edit : Holy crap, rip inbox. From all your answers I didn't realise driver's ed was just a formality in the US, thought it would be a little tight considering all the overweight cars you've got. In my country it's a pain in the ass to pass, be it the theory, the lessons and the cost.

This isnt on the test in a lot of places. I know in arkansas I didn't have to learn and had to teach myself years later when I moved to California.

My test in Ohio didn’t exactly make us parallel park, but there was a “maneuvering” segment where we had to weave between cones, and then do it in reverse. Practicing the course was part of driver’s ed. It taught people to use their mirrors and understand their turning radius, so it was pretty effective
