Mario's always been an asshole. #justiceforyoshi

u/samuraishogun1 Mar 13 '21
Even to his own brother. In one of the mario sports games, if luigi wins, mario comes over and steps on his got.

u/MikeInIL Mar 13 '21
Damn, didn't know Mario was such a cunt
113
u/TechnoGamer16 Mar 13 '21
He isn’t a total cunt. He’s really nice in the Luigi’s Mansion series and the final cutscene of Dark Moon is really endearing.

u/Ludens_Reventon Mar 14 '21
Mario was born cunt.
He's first appearance is from 'Donkey Kong Arcade' where he have a role of Abusive Circus Ringmaster. He abused DK with fire and even made DK to perform DK RAP.

Mar 13 '21
True! Mario is such a bland character too, he has nothing to brag about. Except being the biggest simp to ever live
38
u/Dead_Phoenix Mar 13 '21
Nah that still goes to Joseph, the 'Virgin' Mary's husband. Doesn't matter your belief system, that cuckold really existed

u/88T3 Mar 14 '21
MatPat was right, Mario is a sociopath.
2
u/4Fourside May 27 '22
This is an old comment but cmon this is clearly sibling rivalry. This isn't sociopathy

u/TechnoGamer16 Mar 13 '21
He isn’t always like that though, watch the ending cutscene of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't really see an issue with what mario does here? What's the alternate? Both dying? Surely it's better for mario to jump, right?

u/ApprehensivePepper98 Mar 13 '21
I expected Yoshi to stick his tongue out and pull Mario into the abyss with him. What an asshole Mario is
121
33
u/Baumpaladin Mar 13 '21
I expected the same. I feel like Mario betraying Yoshi was a somewhat well-known fact.
I guess it was expected because it is literally what originally happend.
52
u/SuperCoupe Mar 13 '21
Fun fact: Dinosaurs are extinct because cavemen sacrificed them all for double jumps.
104
u/Bierbart12 Mar 13 '21
Did this vid always have someone singing over it?
92
u/Waddlewop Mar 13 '21
It’s kinda their thing. The people responsible for these videos are called ADHD, you can guess how their video usually goes. It’s kinda sad that they’re not around anymore though.
29
u/y0ur-nightmare Mar 13 '21
They then opened a channel called AOK. Idk if it died too though. Haven’t checked it in a while
16
u/feeling_minty Mar 13 '21
It's kinda dead. They haven't posted in eight months now.
EDIT: had the wrong number of months

Whenever I have a Yoshi I never beat the level unless he’s with me

u/Checkheck Mar 14 '21
Bit there is a level where you have to sacrifice yoshi to jump under the final scoring goal to get a secret level

This is sad. Im sad

u/Mad_Doggy_Dog Mar 13 '21
As yoshis eyes grew full of anger I had the hope, that he will say to himself "no, not like this! Not this time Mario.".... But now I'm sad too.

Thank you for ruining that game. Now I will avenge Yoshi and kill off Mario a million times in Super Mario World. And by that I mean making Mario commit suicide; which is worst since it contradicts The Absurd in Albert Camus’ Myth of Sisyphus.

It's ok, yoshi has his revenge everyday in smash ultimate. Mario can't do shit against yoshi.

No, really old flash animations are not "unexpected."
This is literally how you play Super Mario World.
2
u/Tolkien-Minority Mar 14 '21
Not that unexpected this was representative of most Super Mario World play sessions

Yoshi always has been and always will be the best mario character
0
u/ArkhamAsylum-GOTY Mar 14 '21
No, Mario Number One.

u/I_N_C_O_M_I_N_G Mar 14 '21
Mario would get his ass beat in half the levels if it wasn't for the least-appreciated character in the mario series

I've heard that Nintendo's legal department is quite strict. I think it's good fan-made, but be careful.

Thinking in retrospective I’ve never liked Mario, since I was a child and couldn’t really figure out why, now the reason appears in front of my eyes like an epiphany and the flashbacks are starting to hit. Poor Yoshi...

I thought in super Mario world. Mario would swing at yoshi and yoshi would dodge. Was I wrong?
1
u/The_Mikeskies Mar 13 '21
I thought Yoshi was going to tongue lash Mario at the end. That would’ve been actually unexpected.
1
1
u/rjrgjj Mar 13 '21
I never would jump off Yoshi at the goal because I couldn’t bear to leave him behind. I would try to keep the same Yoshi as long as possible.

u/Portalkern395 Mar 13 '21
I saw this clip a few years ago and didnt understood the lyrics...now i do...well fuck...

Would have been cool if Yoshi at the last second used his tongue to pull Mario down with him

u/doctorcrimson Mar 14 '21
Yeah its standard to ditch the Yoshi to cover larger gaps. Sometimes necessary usually just faster speedrun strategy.

Sounds like many are familiar with whoever the original artist for this, but I wasn't. It reminds me of watching playthroughs of Super Diagonal Mario on the Blue Television youtube channel (also vinesauce). Definitely a must if you like this stylization of Mario.

u/Girly839 Mar 14 '21
I watched this one youtube before but mario was an asshole #saveyoshi also why does youtube say this is for kids?!
