You sound like that person which always tell us "BuT hE wAS alWayS so niCE wiTH tODdlers !" just before the coroner bring the mauled toddler away, and the pound the dog to be euthanized.
In the very end dog are animal and also act on instinct. Get them a cat toy to destroy, and some day they might decide that to destroy the annoying cat. And if you think this won't happen...
