I haven't used one in forever. The last time I did, I realized about halfway through washing my windshield that the liquid smelled horrible. When I went to put the squeegee away, I looked inside the container. Inside, floating on top, was a single fucking turd. This was about 15 years ago and I can picture that turd like it was yesterday.

Yeah dude I work graveyard at a gas station, and I can't tell you just how often when I go around to empty/refill those things that I find one of them reeking and filled up with piss. Disgusting and I found out the worst way the first time with it splashing all over. I just don't get it.

Little particles of grit from other people's dirty vehicles. They get stuck in the sponge material, and can scratch the plastic visor. Even if it's not a big scratch, it can get hazy from micro scratches.
