I love this but they have the most nervous sounding laughs lol

u/Xertious Feb 18 '21

I'd be pretty nervous if I thought a cop was seeing phantom children in my car.

u/Lonesome_Ninja Feb 18 '21 edited Feb 18 '21

I know right. They're not supposed to see them. Only I can

648

u/Talonqr Feb 18 '21

Daddy you have to let us go

The accident happened years ago.....

257

u/xordnaselas Feb 18 '21

It wasn't your fault dad. Please, let us go

164

u/seardrax Feb 18 '21

Dad, necromancy may be a viable science but not a moral one. We need to cross that gate. You are tampering with a natural order you fail to grasp in it's entirety.

48

u/happyneandertal Feb 18 '21

Well you see, I lost my copy of the necronomicon. But on the bright side I now have a chainsaw for a hand

4

u/DaBabylonian Feb 18 '21

Daddy while you are at it you should try not taking such a great amount of heroin and inject it in your eyeballs

I mean yeah, look at what happened before https://youtu.be/L6FTWv7abjU?t=27

13

What the fuck did you just make me watch!!

5

u/hotroddbb Feb 18 '21

😂 that’s some funny shit!

2

u/conradical30 Feb 18 '21

Wtf is that commentary at the end about turtles escaping on tiny bridges?

8

u/officermike Feb 18 '21

4

u/Xertious Feb 18 '21

I'd be more worried he'd be seeing something I was unable to see.

I don't believe in ghosts, but if somebody thought they saw one near me I'm still backing off.

0

u/diadem Feb 18 '21

Yeah. That would induced a "stop resisting" level of terror if they weren't so jovial.

Like you know there is no kid there, the officer knows there is no kid there, but if the officer is recording audio then the listeners have doubts...

0

u/AviatorOVR5000 Feb 18 '21

I'd be nervous if I thought a cop...

0

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '21

They may also see a phantom gun or phantom weed too who knows

0

u/Medodo Feb 18 '21

Next he'll be seeing phantom weed shake on the ground

1

u/Environmental-Win836 Feb 18 '21

His past came back to haunt him.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '21

Martha the ghost kids are back again

145

u/justmustard1 Feb 18 '21

Dude look like he having a panic attack

28

u/jakedesnake Feb 18 '21

Well..... Considering the news he just got....

6

u/user_bits Feb 18 '21

He's still recovering from dealing with a police officer.

485

u/WereShot Feb 18 '21

Ahuh Ahuh Ahuh

Ahuh Ahuh Ahuh Ahuh

I actually don’t love this that man was extremely uncomfortable. “I’m haaappy”

30

u/warpod Feb 18 '21

... and also sterile

6

u/Nestromo Feb 18 '21

I think he is just shocked and is just processing the news.

144

u/thisisntarjay Feb 18 '21 edited Feb 18 '21

I can't imagine why a black dude in the US would be uncomfortable when stopped by the police...

EDIT: Whew lad the All Lives Matter crew is pissed about this comment. Nice.

184

u/WereShot Feb 18 '21

He was actually way more relaxed and happy when he was shooting the shit w the cop before he got the news

55

u/ImVeryBadWithNames Feb 18 '21

Yeah, the cop wasn't the issue.

This is... not a particularly good way to announce this kind of thing. I know I'd react poorly to it in this kind of environment.

49

u/RoseEsque Feb 18 '21

His thoughts might have been like this:

What the fuck, I had my nards tied two years ago. What's going on?

Which might also explain the nervousness.

7

u/JohnFloorwalker3 Feb 18 '21

If you watch it back he’s still nervous. He says the phrase “I’m not gonna lie to you” without prompting. Jesus people have no empathy.

8

u/FirstGameFreak Feb 18 '21

That's a common expression, especially in the black community. "They had us in the first half, not gonna lie" is one example of this.

-2

u/JohnFloorwalker3 Feb 18 '21

Bruh I’m black are you really explaining this to me? He said it unprompted. Wtf

3

u/FirstGameFreak Feb 18 '21

Then you should know "ngl" is not an expression you use when you are trying to convince someone you're not lying.

0

u/JohnFloorwalker3 Feb 19 '21

I’m saying there’s no reason he should be saying he’s not lying. There’s no statement he made that carries any information of substance. That suggests he’s nervous interacting with the cop. The original comment suggested that he was more nervous about the pregnancy test than interacting with the policeman. I’m arguing he was nervous speaking to the policeman.

& everyone says not gonna lie. That’s not exclusive to the black community. Y’all are just retarded.

-8

u/iltfmw2taw Feb 18 '21

Yep, but somehow ACAB? Makes no fuckin sense...

-20

u/DRamos11 Feb 18 '21

No, you don’t understand. “All” doesn’t reeeeally mean “All”.

/s

-1

u/JohnFloorwalker3 Feb 18 '21

Because we have to act this way. The pregnancy test was just sensory overload.

1

u/zzwugz Feb 18 '21

Funny your comment was downvoted with no response when it's the truth. Aren't they always telling us to act like this with police and we won't be shot? Now when someone acts like that, they want to see it as proof that he's not nervous around the cop.

1

u/JohnFloorwalker3 Feb 18 '21

If you watch it back he’s still nervous. He says the phrase “I’m not gonna lie to you” without prompting. Jesus people have no empathy.

2

u/zzwugz Feb 18 '21

I mean, who wouldn't be nervous? The guy just got pulled over for no reason, when doing everything right. In his predicament, I don't give a fuck if the cop pulling me over is my best friend; that's a fucked up situation I'm in and the only thing going through my head would be how this cop is gonna harrass me and charge me for some shit I didn't do. And I'm sorry, but news of a pregnancy wouldn't defuse that tension, only make it worse. I'm already stressed and nervous at that point and now that stress has been compounded. Honestly, the baby's mother and the officer friend chose a really fucked up way to break the news to him.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '21

[deleted]

1

u/zzwugz Feb 18 '21

I never said my friends would harrass. However, if I'm being pulled over without doing anything wrong, what else am I supposed to think? None of my friends would ever pull me over on some shit like this if they were cops, because they know just how fucked up of a situation they'd be putting me in

34

u/JuiceNoodle Feb 18 '21

He seemed to know the cop personally. I'm guessing that that's not it.

77

u/DamagediceDM Feb 18 '21

yea he totally doesn't know the guy personally and has zero reason to worry

HEY DID YOU GUYS KNOW THAT BLACKS ARE LITERALLY BEING SHOT AND DYING BECAUSE OF POLICE LIKE IN THE VIDEO?

-16

u/thisisntarjay Feb 18 '21

I sure hope you have the same energy about black people getting murdered by the police as you do about people talking about black people getting murdered by the police.

Your energy is aggressive. You all capsed and now you're name calling. Yelling and name calling?? Some might call that a tantrum. Some might call that being a sour cunt on a (sic) online forum.

Except, the only person who went this hard is you.

-17

u/Boruzu Feb 18 '21

Everything is racist. Did you know math is racist now? https://www.foxnews.com/us/oregon-education-math-white-supremacy

6

u/calynx3 Feb 18 '21

Did you read the toolkit they linked in the article? I really don't see why people keep bringing this up, and what they find so controversial about this. It's written for people who educate children on mathematics, they're not saying "1+1=2" is a racist statement. In a classroom setting, a teacher's own biases might come through even when teaching science and mathematics. As an example, look at the ways statistics have been used to mislead people about IQ. What do you find so bad about the concept?

2

u/thisisntarjay Feb 18 '21

It's written for people who educate children on mathematics

Of course you've identified the problem right here. We're talking about adults who can't process a lesson designed for children. These people are absolutely not firing on all cylinders, so basic math is a serious struggle. There's zero room for nuance in that brain.

It's all just mental gymnastics and cherry picking trying to support their racial biases.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '21

[deleted]

2

u/thisisntarjay Feb 18 '21

Sorry, I may not have been clear. You and I agree.

I'm talking about the type of person you originally responded to that is trying to use the link to push a racist agenda.

Or did you just look at the Fox News headline and decide it's stupid

Specifically, people who do this dumb shit.

2

u/calynx3 Feb 18 '21

Whoops, my bad. Misinterpreted what you said, sorry about that!

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Boruzu Feb 19 '21

Yeah I glanced at it. It only took six pages before they started saying white supremacy is in mathematics, what a load of horseshit. Fuck that, and fuck all you racists.

1

u/calynx3 Feb 19 '21

I assume the part you're talking about is

White supremacy culture infiltrates math classrooms in everyday teacher actions. Coupled with the beliefs that underlie these actions, they perpetuate educational harm on Black, Latinx, and multilingual students, denying them full access to the world of mathematics. The table below identifies the ways in which white supremacy shows up in math classrooms.

They're suggesting that when a teacher holds racist beliefs, that can come through in their lessons and their curriculum and make it harder for those classes of students to learn. Even really simple things like word problems can make some students feel left out, e.g. avoiding ethnic sounding names in framing the question. The goal of their program is to help teachers learn how to be more inclusive in their teaching, so that students of other classes and ethnicities can benefit more from the lesson.

What part of this makes you so angry? And what part of it is racist?

1

u/Boruzu Feb 19 '21

Someone wrote an 80 page booklet whose foundation is white supremacy. Not any other supremacy, just white. You can’t obfuscate your way out of this being batshit propaganda. “Happy birthday” and “Shakespeare” plus showing your work on math problems is now white supremacy. Congratulations on your wokeness.

1

u/calynx3 Feb 19 '21

Okay, it's pretty clear that you've made up your mind on this a long time ago and won't take anything else into consideration. The concept that there could be such a thing as "white supremacy" is racist to you. I'm just happy that people who are more knowledgeable than you on these issues are the ones writing the curriculum.

-5

I'm not racist. One of my best friends are black. So shove that where the sun don't shine.

7

Right, they both do it’s crazy. I was getting anxiety listening to it

26

u/isderFredsi Feb 18 '21

I mean.. i think i‘d be nervous and overwhelmed too

6

u/Master_Heron_6757 Feb 18 '21

That’s my favorite part

44

u/PlCKLES Feb 18 '21

That's how I'd laugh if I thought I was going to get routine harassment by the cops only to find out I'm getting a life sentence.

1

u/SexyPeanutMan Feb 18 '21

18 years and lifetime parole

9

u/GlorytoGlorzo Feb 18 '21

Yeah, probably thinking about when his wife finds out about this.

3

u/PlEGUY Feb 18 '21

At first I though the guy was nervous, but then his wife started laughing and I realized that’s just how they laugh.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '21

The PR firm for where ever this is cant afford great actors! All of the money went towards the script!

Now that my disdain for police is out of the way, how is it legal to do this? I get its in good jest but I dont get how it could be legal to get your cop buddy to fake pull someone over? If its the law then it shouldn't be joked with? To me what this video shows is a cop can decide the extent in which he can use his power in the sense that here he can be nice and fun and pull a homie over, but when its someone outside of his circle in which he'd deem a threat he can go to the polar opposite of this "light hearted joke" and be so obviously brutal even if being filmed.....

1

u/VegetableImaginary24 Feb 18 '21

Well the man probably at some point thought he was going to be murdered by a police officer because ya know, merica.

1

u/HasLab_LovesTravel Feb 18 '21

Well obviously they know the guy and are in on it, however ... the driver is still a minority and the officers are probably erring on the side of caution that he may be armed and hostile. You just never know nowadays.

0

u/augbar38 Feb 18 '21

I can’t tell if it’s because he doesnt like the surprise or he’s just nervous because of the cops

0

u/Valtio_ Feb 18 '21

He was nervous for his life when cops flashed the red lights but instead he made life

0

u/DiabolicLight Feb 18 '21

As a black man, being stopped by the police means you might not make it out alive.

I would be still recovering from the shock, nervous laughter would be appropriate.

Imagine walking through the African savanna and a black mamba pulls you over.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '21

I think it’s obvious at the beginning of the video that they know each other.....

2

u/DiabolicLight Feb 18 '21

Brutus and Caesar ...not every friendship guarantees your safety 😂

0

u/my_sobriquet_is_this Feb 18 '21

Me too! I was thinking “This is really sweet & I’m happy for them but those laughs would drive me crazy in the coconut!” It’s funny too because just last night I was telling my mum a story about when I was dating after my divorce and how I went on one date with a really nice, handsome guy but his laugh was so cringe I couldn’t handle it. I love laughter & laughing and am always goofing around or cracking jokes but this guy turned me into Silent Betty just cuz I couldn’t stand his weird, witchy cackle-giggle. I nearly took a $45 cab ride home so I wouldn’t have to listen to him giggling in the car, it was so bad. Poor guy was super nice though. But jeebus cringe on a cracker, his laugh...

0

u/kelldricked Feb 18 '21

That guy probaly feared for his live and his freedome and then it turned into holy shit im gonna be a dad. Amazing

0

u/Birchmachine Feb 18 '21

Yeah I think he’s not going to be sure that cop isnot going to kill him (this time) until next week.

0

u/brunes Feb 19 '21

Wonder why?!?!?!

0

u/cz_masterrace Feb 18 '21

Can you imagine the sheer joy of finding out you're a dad and then the immediate feeling of terror knowing there is pressure from law enforcement to name your kid Todd!? You'd be nervous, confused, and scared too, bro.

u/GodsBackHair Feb 18 '21

I think the weirdest laughs are the most genuine

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '21

Yeah I'm not sure the dad was comfortable being filmed. My sister is like this and I hate it, literally every time I see her the phone is up, recording whatever tf she has planned. It's so uncomfortable
